Pastured Pork

Pastured PORK is like no other. Pigs love to be outside, and enjoy the dirt, mud and grass. They root, and dig in the soil and by then end of the summer, we have a newly tilled field thanks to our curly tailed friends. We raise Berkshire pigs, they are black with a little white and they are well adapted to living outdoors full-time.

Our processors make the best farmers sausage, boneless ham and bacon. Many of our customers report it is the best they have ever tasted! Our processor does it the old fashioned way, by smoking the meat in a smoke house and taking pride in the end results. They are a small processors, family owned and operated close to our farm in Grey County, Ontario. We have a lot of respect for their integrity and workmanship.

We sell our pork by the packaged pound, not the hanging weight of the animal. If you purchase meat by the hanging weight, you are paying for approximately 20% to 30% waste, like bones, gristle or unusable parts that are not used to get to the final cut & wrapped weight you consume.

We offer various cuts of meat, or a Farm Share (Meat CSA), Local Meat Samplers, Beef or Pork Samplers (20 to  1000lbs), quarter, side or whole, and of course, custom orders. We deliver in a temperature-controlled environment.
